Goal

The Administration and Evaluation Core provides scientific leadership and maintains administrative oversight of the Latino HIV/AIDS Behavioral Science Center. This Core has four major objectives: 1) To provide organizational leadership for the structure and implementation of center activities, maintaining administrative and fiscal oversight and assuring adequate distribution of personnel and resources, 2) To provide needed scientific and administrative consultation to the other core units of the Center, 3) To provide scientific leadership dedicated to HIV/AIDS research in Latino populations that will stimulate development of intervention and epidemiological research activities, including training and mentoring of new and junior investigators and graduate students while providing a stimulating and rewarding environment for the senior investigators participating in the LHABSC, and 4) To conduct program evaluations of the effectiveness of the activities across all cores.
