The Community Dissemination/Outreach Core will partner with health care and community-based organizations providing HIV / AIDS services to Latino communities within the Miami-Dade area at highest risk for HIV infection. Efforts will be undertaken by the staff of the Community Dissemination/Outreach Core to provide the health care providers and community- based agencies serving the Latino community with evidence-based information on the best practice prevention education models developed to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. The staff will also partner with providers serving the Latino communities at highest risk for HIV/AIDS infection in collaborative research relationships that are essential to the engagement of these community partners in long-term trusting relationships.
